That looks (and sounds!) great! You should definitely feel encouraged to finish it off! I used to have a BBC B with a 5 1/4" drive and an external DataCentre unit, but I had to let them go last summer before I'd spent any real time with them.
I'd love to give this a play when you've done it.

Re: Mac toolchain
Ok, thanks Keith. Well, the basic, rather tedious and over-wrought blog posts of what I did and how it works, with a BASIC and VASM example and some stuff about recompiling the BIN2TAP, BAS2TAP and VASM tools on the Mac, starts here; http://robsoft.net/blog/mac-to-spectrum-1-3/ I do want to take you...

Mac toolchain
If anyone is interested, inspired by Keith's setup for getting stuff into an emulated Spectrum (on Windows), I've got a fairly nice setup working on Mac OS now, with bits and pieces put together so that I can go from Sublime Text (or any editor of choice really), via VASM, into FUSE (or Zesarux), ma...

Re: Toe dipping!
Sorry Keith - by RKMs I just meant the 'Rom Kernel Manual', Commodore's official hardware reference book and the various similar books covering the roms, software libraries etc. I think you've linked to them already but I'll link them here; iKod archive I managed to get hold of paper copies of some ...

Toe dipping!
Okay, over the past couple of weeks I found enough time to start a bit of Amiga assembly, first up I was sending ANSI control codes to the terminal window to move a cursor around and 'type' text, then I got Paula to make a few bleeps and beeps. Now I'm going to have a go with the screen/bitmap tutor...

Re: A bit of fun? Zelda for the Nes Cheat / Glitch
What a thing to find; I imagine it was found with a disassembler and some patience, whilst generally looking for stuff, rather than because anyone stumbled over weird behaviour and decided to go spelunking to see what was happening.

Re: Good morning
Cool, thanks Keith. I started going back over the 68k tutorials last night, a very good point you made about VASM being fussy over the space between parameters - I had trouble with an innocuous line the other night and eventually only deleting it and retyping it got me through. Thinking about the er...

Good morning
Hi everyone, just saying hello. I've been following the Patreon stuff for a little while and dabbling but haven't had much chance to put proper time into it yet. I'm trying to get a simple 'my first demo' kind of thing running on the Amiga by the middle of June for something, and then after that I h...
