Hello everybody!

Hi!

I am a software engineer that started out many moons ago on M68000 and worked on and off writing assembly, apart from the regular steps of C, C++, C#, bash, perl, etc.

My current job is mostly in the C/C++/C#-realm writing drivers and other software for Linux and Windows.

My goal here is to learn more details of stuff that I haven't really used, first on M68000, with the corner-case details being primary focus. I have a post in 68000 General, which shows the detail-level I'm going for :)

When I was writing code (Assembly, C and C++) on M68000, I did it first on Amigas - A500 - MC68000/7.16MHz, A1200 - MC68EC020/14MHz & MC68030/50MHz, A4000 - M68060/50Mhz + PPC 604e/200MHz.

I still have some of the old hardware - the A1200 and A4000, though I don't dare turn them on. Someone that knows electronics needs to go through and check if it still works, replacing capacitors, etc, or I will probably let the blue smoke out of stuff, and as we all know - once you let the blue smoke out of a chip, you can't put it back in again.
